Tina, eat the food!
I forgot to mention my midwife appointment last Wednesday. I found out my iron and protein levels are pretty low, so I have been instructed to eat more and to eat better. Of course, I already feel like I'm eating ALL the time! And let's just say that I pretty much haven't deprived myself of anything lately! I also lost a few pounds, which isn't significant, but she'd like to see me gaining instead. She mentioned to maybe try protein shakes to help boost my levels quicker, and then we can see about just doing dietary changes after we get my levels back to normal. Other than that though, everything is looking good! It is so precious to hear the baby's heartbeat every time and to find out what position he is in when she feels for him on my belly! Please just pray for me to make wise choices when I eat so I can pack in all the nutrients that I need!

Baby Shower
My wonderful Lifegroup girls threw me a surprise baby shower last Friday, October 3rd. It was such a blessing and I got lots of cute clothes, diapers, and extra things I needed for Noah. There was even a few monogrammed items! Yay! I can't wait to use everything! (Thank you so much to everyone who helped out with it!)
I was so busy soaking up all the attention, that I forgot to take extra pictures. But here are the few I ended up with.
Here is the monogrammed blanket. There was also pacifers and a burp cloth. So cute!

Look at that belly!

*By the way, my sister brought over her extra crib for us to use, so we don't have to worry about buying one like we thought we might. Here is a picture of the bedding I would like to get! I thought since it is gender neutral, it will look good since the kiddos will have to share a room for a while.

Yum!
Here are a few pictures I forgot to post from a few weeks ago of our munchkin enjoying her spaghetti*. What a mess!
In this one, she is so ready for me to stop taking pictures already and get her out!
*Here is my sister's yummy recipe for some great spaghetti sauce! It's so easy and tasty that we try to make it pretty often.
In a large skillet, add 1lb. lean ground beef (already browned and seasoned to taste with garlic - minced or powder, oregano, basil, and salt & pepper) to 2 small cans of tomato sauce, 1 can diced tomatoes, and about 1/2 of a small red onion, chopped. Let simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of brown sugar and 1 tbsp of red wine vinegar to sauce. Continue to let simmer for about 15 additional minutes. Pour over cooked spaghetti noodles and serve with garlic bread, and enjoy!

Growing Belly and Sunday Soccer
As promised, here is the latest belly pic. I am officially 29 weeks along today! The only complaint I've had recently is having lots of heartburn... especially at night! Other than that, everything is wonderful! I am feeling lots more kicks and movement, and I have just been reminded of that amazing, indescribable feeling of having a little life inside of me! I am trying to savor every moment right now, because time has been flying by! I mean, can you believe that there are only about 11 weeks left til we get to meet baby Noah?! It's just crazy!
