Rebekah turned TWO on Wednesday, April 1st....yes, April Fool's Day. The day she was born I remember joking around that it would be funny if she turned out to be a boy since it was April Fool's and all. Anyway, we had a great, but exhausting day.
We started out going to the zoo...
The day started out kind of chilly. I felt a little bad for being the only mom (or at least it seemed) to forget to bring a jacket or sweater for their child. So I covered Bekah with a blanket... (it ended up warming up though)
We saw elephants...
cheetahs....
zebras....
flamingos...
And we even saw some monkeys... Now that's where we felt most comfortable! Haha!
And when we were done and on our way to the Cupcake Cottage (c'mon, were you really surprised?) Baby Girl pooped out from all the excitement. 
When we got home and she woke from her nap, we sang Happy Birthday...
And she opened her present (which was really a bunch of little presents) from us and talked to Jason's Aunt DeeDee on the phone.
Overall, it was a fun and exciting day. We are SO very blessed to have this little girl in our lives. We can't wait for her big birthday party on Sunday! We'll post some pics of that soon! :)
Lord, thank you for blessing us and entrusting us with such a joyful, obedient, and free-spirited girl. I cannot believe that it's been two years since I labored for ten hours and then finally got to meet the little one who had been kicking and squirming around in me for 9 months! It's been two years since we first brought our little bundle of joy home with us, held her in our arms, and cried tears of joy over her. Yes, these two years have flown past us and I just pray that you would help us to enjoy each passing day that we are blessed to have her. Help us to be the best parents that we can be, and thank you for the many years to come with our girl! You are awesome! AMEN!
