Thursday Rebekah started drinking from a sippy cup all by herself! Yes, we have been working on if for a while, and she has never wanted a cup or a bottle - she's always just thrown them at us which makes for lots of fun! Anyway, I guess she turned one and thought it was time to be a big girl. She also cut her other top front tooth on Wednesday, giving her a total of 5 toothies! If you look closely on these pictures you can sort of see them all. You might have to click on them to make them bigger. Then on Friday we took her to the doctor for her one year check up, and much to our surprise she hasn't gained much of anything in weight since her 10 month check up. The doctor is not worried because she's getting taller and her head is growing, too. He says that she's just not going to be a very big kid, but that everything looks great. We just can't believe it though, because she's been eating us out of the house already with her appetite! She loves green beans and can eat through a whole small can of them in like 5 minutes flat, and she eats like we never feed her! Anyway, we are proud of our little munchkin for being a big girl, even if she doesn't look like one! =)

Way to go Bekah!!! That is so cool. I am trying the sippy cup with Jacob and he like to bypass the spout and just drink directly from the cup (go figure). :)
How sweet! I have a book for her, sorry we couldn't make it on Tues. We'll have to have a play date soon...she is such a big girl in her tiny body...I'm partial to tiny girls though, Mikayla only weighs 8 pounds more than Lucas :)
Yea! Bekah's so big. That's awesome that she's drinking from her sippy cup. Since Brenley doesn't want to take a bottle I'm thinking about trying the sippy cup. She may be too young, but we'll see. It looks like your persistence paid off!!!
