Well, this week has turned out to be pretty good. Rebekah has gone all week (since that last time on Monday) without nursing, and she's also slept better(who would've guessed?) than before. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night she slept straight through the night. But then on Thursday night, she woke up in the middle of the night a few times and it was tough to get her back down. Last night (Friday) she only woke up once and she went straight back to sleep after I changed her diaper. Every night has gotten better with the initial part of getting her to go to sleep, though. Tonight she didn't even cry! So for the most part, so far, so good! (And for those of you who know what the mom experiences physically, I'm not hurting anymore either! Which is of course a relief!) Thanks for your prayers!
In other Bekah news, bath time has become more fun for her lately. She has become so curious with the water and she's been wanting to play more. Tonight, she kept trying to "grab" the water and hold it. She'd stick her hand in the water and make a fist and bring it up out of the water to see if she got it or not, opening her hand, and then trying again when she realized she "dropped" it. She played with the cup I use to rinse her hair. I put water in it, and she held it with both hands and started shaking it up and down, only to get water all in her face. I couldn't help but laugh when she closed her eyes and got choked up a little and then she joined me laughing. It was so funny! So then of course, she kept doing it to be funny. She also threw all her toys out of the tub and thought that was funny too. When it was time to let the water go, she wanted to play with the plug and she waved "bye bye" to the water. I took a few pictures because she was enjoying it so much, and then she didn't want me to take her out of the tub - even without the water! Anyway, here are the pictures of my little clown at the end of her fun!
