Purple Cows

Today we were also graced with Jason getting to work a day shift. This means that he got to come home earlier in the day, which was such a blessing! (Although he worked last night until 11pm and was running on very little sleep for the day.)

However, this also meant for me that the usual dreaded question of "what's for dinner?" would inevitably come up! That being said, I was somehow able to manage a negotiation out of my hubby. I explained to him that we needed to go out to eat because I knew how hungry and tired he was and how he surely wouldn't want to wait on me to actually make dinner! .......Well, I am not exactly sure how much of that he bought, but we agreed to get out and spend some family time together.

Once in the car and on our way to my favorite restaurant (OTB!) I had a crazy idea to change our plans and go somewhere fun! We decided to go to the Purple Cow Diner. I had always heard of it, but never been there and it is fairly close to where we live. The result? A fun family night with good burgers and yummy chocolate and purple vanilla ice cream sundaes!
